2005 Porsche 996 GT3 Sport seat in black leather with yellow stitching. The center section of the base and back are a perforated leather, with the side pieces being a smooth, non-perforated design. The seat base is firm and supportive with the rear back having the perfect fit to your back and shoulders. The headrest has the embossed Porsche crest. Rear of the seat is a hard cover with a rubberized coating, there is a small recessed hook at the top for hanging a small bag from the back of the chair (perfect for hanging your car keys or a purse). Lower section of the rear base has the traditional map storage pocket in black leather (would make an excellent "in-box" in your office!). The entire chair tilts back from the base however the rear seat back tilt can be set with the connection of the included wall power adapter. Your purchase includes a painted base in the color of your choice, shown here is an unfinished flat silver. Due to the yellow stitching, we would recommend the official Porsche "Speed Yellow" or a metallic silver or black.

Each chair we build is unique, the metal base and frame are painted separately for each order with a professional automotive paint job in a deep, high gloss paint. Your purchase includes a custom color of your choice; match it to your existing car's paint, a trim color in your office or anything else you desire. We only need a paint sample or paint code to get finish you chair. We always have a few metallic silver and metallic black bases in stock for rush orders, for the custom paint it is a 3 week processing time.

The mechanics of the bases are a Synchro knee-tilter from Global's Ride collection. They are a full metal base and frame with sculpted sport wheels. The smooth synchronous tilting action maintains constant contact and support for your body in all postures. There are sculpted shift levers at the side of the seat to control the synchro tilt mechanism and seat height. The rotating pivot arms are height adjustable.
Racechairs come from actual exotic sports cars and racecars. We find late model race conversions and parts cars and acquire the seats from around the world. Once we receive a new seat, it is disassembled, the leather is cleaned and conditioned, the unnecessary hardware is removed and a custom bracket is created to place the seat in the optimal position.
