Removed from a 2008 Porsche 997 Carrera that was converted into a Grand Am Koni series racecar, this seat was immediately removed before the car was driven and still had the original plastic covers installed over the seating surface. This special edition chair comes in black leather with a dark silver stitching, medium silver base trim and a red base. The leather is a non-perforated grain finish. Since this is a 2008 model seat, the upper side of the seat includes the factory seat mounted airbag, this panel has been signed "Bryce Miller #87" in a metalic silver permanent marker. Your purchase includes a signed hero card from Bryce's 2008 raceteam and a certificate of authenticity along with an open invitiation to join Bryce and his race team at your choice of a 2008 or 2009 Grand Am Race with an all-access, full team member credential!

The base of the seat's tilt angle can be adjusted via the lever on the side and although the entire chair tilts back from the base, the rear seat back tilt can be set with the connection of the included wall power adapter. There is a small recessed hook at the top back of the seat for hanging a small bag from the back of the chair (perfect for hanging your car keys or a purse).
Each chair we build is unique, the metal base and frame is painted with a professional automotive quality paint job in a deep, high gloss paint.

The mechanics of the bases are a Synchro knee-tilter from Global's Ride collection. They are a full metal base and frame with sculpted sport wheels. The smooth synchronous tilting action maintains constant contact and support for your body in all postures. There are sculpted shift levers at the side of the seat to control the synchro tilt mechanism and seat height. The rotating pivot arms are height adjustable.
Racechairs come from actual exotic sports cars and racecars. We find late model race conversions and parts cars and acquire the seats from around the world. Once we receive a new seat, it is disassembled, the leather is cleaned and conditioned, the unnecessary hardware is removed and a custom bracket is created to place the seat in the optimal position.

Because Leather has natural markings, and these seats do come from a pre-owned vehicle, some wear on the seat is to be expected. We have implemented a rating system to more accurately describe each chairs condition.
