This paperweight is made from an actual piston that was removed directly from the Scuderia Ferrari F2001 World Champion F1 racecar. The 2001 championship got off to an excellent start for the Prancing Horse with victory in the first round in Australia. By the end of the season, nine wins meant that the Scuderia Ferrari took the Constructors' World title while Schumacher was crowned World Drivers' Champion for the fourth time.
This item was built by Ferrari and is guaranteed authentic with a certificate of origin signed by Ferrari CEO Jean Todt.
It sits on a transparent Plexiglas base with a detail metal identification plate and comes in red cardboard packaging customised with the Prancing Horse logo.
