This umbrella was received directly from Scuderia Ferrari at the end of their 2006 season. This is not one of the licensed umbrellas that can be bought in one of the Ferrari stores or other retail outlets; this is the actual teams umbrella!
The shaft is carbon fiber and measures 38" in length. When open, it has a span of 53". There is a 5 1/2" long foam covered handle that housed a round silver auto-replease button for opening the umbrella. There is a velcro strap to keep the umbrella wrapped up as well as a sleeve with the team logo's on it for storage or travel.
The shaft is an unpainted carbon fiber one, great for showing off to your friends at the office or golf course. The umbrella itself is a red nylon like fabric imprinted with alternating Scuderia Ferrari/Marlboro and Martini logo's.
This umbrella was never offered for sale, so it makes an excellent collectors item to keep in the trunk of your Ferrari or in the umbrella stand atyour office or showroom. While most Ferrari owners buy the licensed Ferrari umbrellas, you can rest assured that you'll never run into anyone else with this collectors piece (unless you're lucky enough to hang out with the Scuderia Ferrari crew!).
